Poor maintenance and location.
It was a 20 plus year old hotel, convenient to turnpike but miles from anywhere in Portland. It took us 3 days to get light bulb replaced. Room in the outside of hotel facing turnpike.

Front desk manager was very helpful.
Location
Room was clean for the age of the hotel. I would have stayed in South Portland if I had my chance over again. It served the purpose as we were only there to sleep and get up and leave first thing in the morning. ...read more

Clean, comfortable and convenient.
No elevator for 2nd floor, had to do stairs with bags.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient. We arrived late and had to wait around for staff to check us in -despite having called ahead. Other than that it was great.

Clean, nicely decorated room. Comfortable.
Bath size, smoky hallways.
This is not a 3-star hotel! It is a '60s era HI motel which has been nicely redone, but the footprint is dated. This is a clean, well appointed facility, but in no way should be in the same star class w/downtown Hilton, Wyndham, & Embassy Suites. ...read more
